When you smile, laugh, frown, or look puzzled, you contract the muscles of your face. Over time, these contractions produce permanent furrows and deep wrinkles in the skin, especially around the eyes and mouth, between the eyebrows, and on the forehead. These lines can make you look older, sad, angry or tired. BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments can not only prevent you from deepening these lines during natural facial movements, they can also erase these marks of aging, leaving you looking younger and refreshed.
BOTOX® is made from a highly purified protein that is very safe when administered by a trained physician. The medication relaxes the muscles in the face that cause wrinkles. In this way, BOTOX® smoothes the lines in the skin that make you look tired or angry. BOTOX® may also be useful for migraine headaches, excessive sweating, and eye and neck muscle spasms. Soft tissue fillers are injected under the skin to "plump up," contour and smooth wrinkles, lines and hollow areas in the face and to augment the lips or cheeks for a younger, fuller appearance.
JUVEDERM® Injectable Gel
Touted as the "next generation" of facial fillers, JUVEDERM® injectable gels gently smooth wrinkles and folds around the mouth and nose and restore a youthful volume to the face. Made with hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the body that works with collagen and elastin to provide volume and support to the skin, JUVEDERM® is especially effective on smile lines and "parentheses" (nasolabial folds) that run from the bottom of the nose to the sides of the mouth. Treatment takes only 15 minutes with immediate results and no downtime. Results typically last about 6-9 months.
Radiesse™ is a synthetic injectable filler that reduces wrinkles, creases and scars by augmenting the body's natural collagen supply. It can be used on many areas of the body, including the lips, nasolabial folds, peri-oral lines, depressed scars and oral commissures. Treatments typically take 15 minutes and require only local anesthetic. Results are visible immediately after the injection and can last for months or years.

SKIN REJUVENATION WITH LASER & LIGHT
Microlaser Peel & Contour TRL removes a layer of surface skin to improve the appearance of facial scarring due to acne, chicken pox, injury or other causes. Broad Band Light (BBL) removes uneven pigmentation, wrinkles, sun damage, age spots or freckles, unsightly red spots or veins and certain kinds of skin lesions. BBL is also used for hair removal, active acne treatment and the exciting new Skin tightening procedures. BBL can also be used to treated bruising and help it disappear quicker.
The skin is anesthetized, and then treated with MicrolaserPeel, Contour TRL(Deep resurfacing), Profractional XC(Fractionated laser) for a dramatically smoother, fresher look. There is minimal downtime with the Microlaserpeels and Profractional laser treatments and if done on Thursday/Friday will be healed by Monday. The Contour TRL (deeper resurfacing) can take longer to heal depending on the depth of resurfacing. After the procedure it is normal to feel a sensation similar to sunburn for a week or so, at which time most patients are able to return to work. The newly revealed skin will likely appear pinker than usual for two to three months. Patients should be sure to adequately protect skin from sunlight.
BBL treatments don’t require anesthesia and usually have minimal redness of the area and minimal downtime.
Scar revision is performed to reduce the appearance of scars caused by injury or previous surgery. Scars are by definition permanent, but surgery can narrow, fade and otherwise reduce the appearance of severe or unattractive scarring, which is especially helpful in areas of cosmetic importance such as the face and hands.
There are many surgical methods of scar revision, only some of which may be appropriate for a particular type of scar or its location. These include surgical excision, skin grafts, flap surgery and Z-plasty (repositioning a scar so that it aligns with the face and is less noticeable). The effectiveness of scar reduction depends on a number of factors, including the nature of the injury, your body's healing mechanism, the size and depth of the wound, how much blood supplies the area and the thickness and color of your skin.
Full, natural-looking eyelashes can now be achieved through a prescription treatment called Latisse™. Latisse is the first and only eyelash treatment approved by the FDA to help grow longer, fuller and darker eyelashes and treat hypotrichosis, a condition that includes having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.
This prescription medication is applied topically to the base of the eyelashes once a day, after makeup and contact lenses have been removed and any other skincare products have already been applied. While it does not replace mascara, Latisse offers an attractive complement to help further enhance full, long and beautiful lashes.
The results of Latisse are visible after 4 weeks, with full results appearing after 16 weeks.
